Hold Harmless Agreement | Keit Foundation Programs

Introduction

Welcome to keitfoundation.org. By accessing or participating in any Keit Foundation program, including but not limited to the AI Explorers Program, you agree to the terms of this Participation Agreement (“Agreement”).

This Agreement is intended to clarify participant responsibilities, outline liability limitations, and describe the rights of participants and, where applicable, parents or legal guardians of minor participants.

Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Risks

Participation in Keit Foundation programs may involve inherent risks, including the possibility of personal injury, property damage, or other potential losses. By accessing the Site or participating in Foundation programs, you acknowledge, understand, and voluntarily accept these risks.

You agree to assume responsibility for the risks associated with your participation or, where applicable, the participation of a minor for whom you are the parent or legal guardian.

Hold Harmless and Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Keit Foundation, including its officers, employees, agents, and volunteers, from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, reasonable legal fees, and expenses arising from your or your child’s participation in Foundation programs.
This indemnification applies to claims resulting from participation in program activities, except where prohibited by law or in cases involving gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Waiver of Liability

By using the Site and participating in Foundation programs, you voluntarily release and discharge the Keit Foundation from claims, demands, and liabilities arising from participation in program activities to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This waiver may include claims related to bodily injury, emotional distress, or property damage, regardless of cause, subject to applicable legal limitations.

Medical Treatment Authorization

In an emergency where a parent, guardian, or participant cannot be reached, you authorize the Keit Foundation to obtain necessary emergency medical treatment for the participant.
You accept responsibility for costs related to emergency medical treatment. The Keit Foundation will make reasonable efforts to contact the parent or guardian before seeking care, but may proceed if immediate action is necessary and contact is unavailable.

Photographic and Video Release

You grant the Keit Foundation permission to capture photographs and videos during program activities. These materials may be used for promotional, educational, informational, print, online, or other media purposes.
By granting permission, you waive the right to review or receive compensation for such use and release the Keit Foundation from claims related to the lawful use of these images or recordings.

Data Privacy and Protection

The Keit Foundation prioritizes privacy and follows applicable data protection requirements. Personal information collected through keitfoundation.org is handled in accordance with the Foundation’s Privacy Policy.
By registering for a program, you consent to the collection and processing of relevant information as described in the Privacy Policy, including potential international data transfers where necessary and legally permitted.

Code of Conduct and Behavioral Expectations

Participants are expected to follow the Keit Foundation’s Code of Conduct, including maintaining respectful behavior, following reasonable instructions, and contributing to a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Violations of behavioral expectations may result in removal from a program without refund. Participants or guardians may be responsible for costs associated with early termination resulting from non-compliance.

Parental or Guardian Responsibility and Consent

If you access the Site or agree to program participation on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the minor’s legal parent or guardian and have authority to agree to this Agreement on the minor’s behalf.
You agree to communicate program requirements and expectations to the minor participant and take reasonable steps to support their compliance with those requirements.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using keitfoundation.org or participating in Keit Foundation programs, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Participation Agreement.
